Whitcomb is an adolescent and young adult therapist who specializes in helping young people move from feeling stuck to finding clarity and hope. Her practice centers on authentic, collaborative relationships where real connection is the foundation for meaningful growth and healing.

Whitcomb is skilled in supporting clients through identity exploration – such as sexual orientation, gender identity, and relational or career identity – and navigating life’s transitions and instability. Her approach is warm, direct, and inclusive, honoring each client’s unique journey and lived experience. Whitcomb especially settles in when helping clients navigate through their experiences with grief and loss, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and suicide loss.

Clients often share that they appreciate Whitcomb’s ability to listen deeply, challenge gently, and celebrate their progress along the way. She strives to create a space where clients feel empowered to explore their story, embrace their strengths, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

Whitcomb graduated from the University of Houston with her undergraduate degree in English and Philosophy. She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work with a concentration in health disparities. She is currently a Doctor of Public Health Candidate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Whitcomb has focused the majority of her continuing education credits in suicide prevention, grief and bereavement, and cultural competencies. She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, grounding herself in person-centered therapy, complemented with evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each client.
