Julia Goldberg
Julia Goldberg, LMSW, is a trauma therapist with the goal of helping others improve their quality of life. Julia brings authenticity, empathy, and open-mindedness to her sessions with a focus on helping clients reach their personal goals and improve their daily lives. Julia works with individuals recovering from trauma as well as individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship issues, and life transitions.
Julia received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Towson University with a minor in economics as well as a master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland. She has had experience in non-profit mental health work as well as private practice. Julia utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as trauma-informed, psychodynamic, psychoeducational, and person-centered approaches. Julia believes in creating a client-centered environment that facilitates self-empowerment and personal growth.
