I believe therapy is a space where you can show up exactly as you are: without judgment, pressure, or expectation. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from East Carolina University and my Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University. My education, combined with my clinical experience, has equipped me to support adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and complex emotional challenges.
I specialize in working with individuals living with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) and have extensive experience treating co-occurring disorders, including the intersection of mental health conditions, substance use, and eating disorders. I understand that these challenges are often interconnected and require a thoughtful, individualized approach tailored to each person's experiences and goals.
My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care. Together, we will build practical tools to navigate life's challenges while exploring deeper patterns that may be impacting your emotional well-being. I strive to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship where you feel supported, challenged, and empowered to make lasting, meaningful change.
