Daniel earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2017 and later completed his Master of Social Work there in 2022. Originally from Washington, DC, he developed a passion for helping individuals facing physical and mental health challenges. After graduating, he served with AmeriCorps in New Orleans and Houston, supporting disaster recovery efforts following a tornado and Hurricane Harvey. He later worked in education as a special education teacher in New Orleans and as an assistant teacher in Washington, DC.
During graduate school, he completed an evidence-based practice fellowship at the Addiction Center of Broome County, where he facilitated group therapy, conducted intakes, provided individual therapy for substance use disorders, and contributed to a program analysis of the county’s needle exchange initiative. After earning his MSW, he worked at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington, supporting patients with a wide range of mental health needs across diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. In 2024, he joined the DC Child and Family Services Agency, where he worked on child welfare cases involving removals and adoptions while collaborating with families, attorneys, and community stakeholders to promote child safety and family well-being. Most recently he worked as a Mental Health Therapist at Bloom Health Centers.
Daniel views therapy as a non-judgemental place where we work together to tackle the smallest and biggest hurdles that impact your daily life. He doesn't believe there is a one size fits all for therapy and will work with you in developing therapy around what works best for you.
